The next free updates of the game
Let’s start first with the roadmapAssassin’s Creed Shadowswhich begins with a free update that will take place next week, October 28.
With this, free running promises to be improved with a catch-up mechanic on a ledge, a manual jump from a raised element, or even a propulsion in the void to make the parkour mechanic more complete. There will also be the possibility of reappearing corrupted castles with better enemies and rewards.
Will come next the free update on November 25, which will add a new questwith new abilities to unlock for the duo (Naoe will have a big kick, and Yasuke a discreet way to get rid of enemies), just like an Isu puzzle to solve. This is also where we will discover a second special collaboration for the game, without Ubisoft wanting to say too much at the moment. And after that, other updates are planned before the end of the year, notably to add more finishing moves, other missions or even Animus rewards.
A Switch 2 version at the foot of the tree
In addition to this roadmap, Assassin’s Creed Shadows targets a whole new audience with the release of a Nintendo Switch 2 version. It’s now official, since the publisher confirms this with a first video in which we can see the port running. With undoubtedly obvious concessions, but the result still seems promising.
This Switch 2 version ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows will be available from December 2 on the Nintendo console. We will find all the content of the game there, except the DLC Tracking Awajiwhich will arrive at a later date. Cross-progression will be on the program, letting you connect to Ubisoft Connect to resume your game wherever you want.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Be sure to check out our complete guide to learn more about the game.
