ARC Raiders players can now download update 1.20.0, rolling out on March 17, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. This new patch brings several corrections, but above all a major change expected by a large part of the community. For several weeks, one weapon had largely dominated the clashes. This imbalance has finally been corrected, with adjustments that could change the way you play.
IL Toro heavily nerfed after dominating PvP
The IL Toro shotgun had become a reference in PvP combat. Its power and range made it particularly effective, to the point of unbalancing certain games. The developers have decided to intervene with a significant adjustment. As they explain, “This is an adjustment that many of you have requested. We have adjusted the IL Toro to correct its DPS and ranged effectiveness, especially when combined with a choke. » This change marks a turning point for players accustomed to using this weapon.
Precise modifications that change gameplay
The nerf to the IL Toro is more than just a minor adjustment. Several key features have been downgraded. Damage per projectile increased from 7.5 to 7, while rate of fire is reduced from 43 to 38. Dispersion also increases, making the weapon less accurate at range. Finally, the total reload time increases from 4.3 seconds to 5.7 seconds, which significantly slows down its use in combat. These changes force players to rethink their approach, particularly when it comes to positioning and timing.
Economic and technical adjustments in parallel
The update is not limited to weapon balancing. Embark Studios also fixed several technical issues. For example, an audio bug related to the Comet enemy has been fixed. Several collision issues have also been resolved in certain areas of the game. On the economy side, energy clips have been adjusted. Their selling price goes from 1000 to 200 coins, in order to avoid certain abuses. These changes are intended to stabilize the overall experience and limit system exploits.
A next update already eagerly awaited
This patch comes as players are already waiting for the game’s next big update. Embark Studios has confirmed that a major update, called Flashpoint, will arrive by the end of March. It will notably introduce a new map, a new ARC enemy and other important content.
In the meantime, the developers remain attentive to feedback from the community. As they point out, “We will of course continue to monitor this closely to see how it plays out in practice and will make further adjustments if necessary. Thank you for your feedback and your patience! »
