In the May 2026 shows the free TV channel ProSieben MAXX several anime films again. We will summarize below what these are.
14 “Dragon Ball Z” films
The next month will be all about “Dragon Ball Z”: On May Day (May 1st) and on Whit Monday (May 25th), seven screen spin-offs of the franchise will be broadcast with German dubbing.
»Mary and the Witches’ Flower« (May 1st at 8:15 p.m.) runs for the first time on ProSieben MAXX, during »Psycho Pass: Providence« (May 25th at 10:10 p.m.) celebrates its German TV premiere. Also sweep »Demon Slayer – The Movie: Mugen Train« and “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya” back to the screens.

On May 1, 2026 at 8:15 p.m shows ProSieben MAXX the film »Mary and the Witches’ Flower« with German dubbing.
Action:
Mary moves in with her great-aunt Charlotte and discovers glowing, magical flowers in the forest. When she picks one and touches it with a broomstick, it begins to fly and takes her to a mysterious magical world.
May 8th at 8:15 p.m.: “Shin Ultraman”
A week later, on May 8, 2026 at 8:15 p.mthe live-action film is playing “Shin Ultraman” on ProSieben MAXX.
Action:
When massive Kaiju attack Japan, the SSSP is formed to defend itself. A silver giant appears and defeats the monsters.
After Shinji’s death, the alien takes his form and fights for humanity as Ultraman – but new dangers are already ahead.
May 15th at 11:05 p.m.: “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train”
»Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train« will be on May 15, 2026 at 11:05 p.m on ProSieben MAXX broadcast.
Action:
After their training at the Butterfly Manor, Tanjiro and his companions arrive at the next location. Over 40 people disappeared on the “Mugen train”. Together with the flame pillar Kyojuro Rengoku they take on the mission.
May 22nd at 8:15 p.m.: “Penguin Highway”
On May 22, 2026 at 8:15 p.m there is “Penguin Highway” with German dubbing ProSieben MAXX to see.
Action:
The clever fourth grader Aoyama carefully documents his observations and counts the days until he grows up.
When mysterious penguins suddenly appear in his town, he begins to investigate with a dental assistant he has a crush on. A mysterious water ball could be connected to anything – and it seems to be the key.

Immediately afterwards, on May 25, 2026 at 8:15 p.mrunning »Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero« on ProSieben MAXX.
Action:
The Red Ribbon Army, once defeated by Son Goku, returns. New followers create Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, who see themselves as “superheroes” and attack Piccolo and Gohan. But their true goal remains hidden.
May 25th at 10:10 p.m.: “Psycho-Pass: Providence”
Afterwards it takes place on May 25, 2026 at 10:10 p.m the German TV premiere of »Psycho Pass: Providence« on ProSieben MAXX instead of.
Action:
In January 2118, Inspector Akane Tsunemori investigates the murder of Professor Milicia Stronskaya on an alien ship. The perpetrators are the “Peacebreakers” who are after the Stronskaya papers.
With Shinya Kogami she comes across a truth that could shake the government and the Sibyl system.

Action:
The starving samurai Ryuma enters an inn and meets the young waitress Flare, whose village was once destroyed by a dragon.

On May 29, 2026 at 8:15 p.m takes over “The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya” the program of ProSieben MAXX.
Action:
Shortly before Christmas, Haruhi plans a celebration with the SOS Brigade. But suddenly everything is different: Haruhi and Itsuki have disappeared, no one remembers them, and even Mikuru and Yuki act strange.
There is no trace of the brigade anymore. Kyon faces the mystery alone and tries to restore the vanished reality.
