AI anime for “Kindergarten for Divine Beasts” announced + visual

The South Korean webtoon series “Kindergarten for Divine Beasts” will receive an anime adaptation in just a few weeks, which will be produced almost entirely using artificial intelligence. There is a first teaser image below.

Starting this month

According to Digital Daily, the series will premiere this month on Daewon Broadcasting’s South Korean channel Anione. The story centers on a human who unexpectedly takes over the management of a kindergarten for divine beasts.

Daewon Broadcasting cooperated with the AI company Glitch Goblin Studio for planning, production and post-production. The approximately ten-minute episodes each adapt two chapters of the webtoon template.

According to those responsible, AI was not only used to support technical processes, but was also actively integrated into creative processes. Despite using this technique, the original style should be retained.

The webtoon, written by yeonug and drawn by mimba, has already received more than four million views worldwide on WEBTOONS.com since January 2025. The underlying webnovel comes from Geul Mat.
