NetEase’s pirate game will launch an alpha in February

An alpha reserved for PC

Remember, Sea of Remnants was during the State of Play last June and gave us a glimpse of a pirate game (well, with pirate puppets) in a very colorful open world with a fairly unique, almost cartoonish atmosphere. A kind of Sea of Thieves but much more unbridled, and undoubtedly with a slightly less healthy economic model. The latest video of the game will give you a refresher on everything that free-to-play will have to offer.

All this gameplay presented also aims to show you that development is progressing well, to the point that the game will soon be playable via a closed alpha. This will take place from February 5 to 12 on Steamand registrations are now open until January 23.

For a chance to participate, head directly to the game’s Steam page, on Reddit, at Twitter or on the Discord server dedicated to the game. Please note that for this alpha, only an English translation will be offered.

The full version of Sea of Remnants is planned for PC, PS5 and mobiles at an as yet undetermined date.
