A simple Reddit user recently discovered a clever technique to get up to nine PlayStation games without paying more than the usual monthly rate. The trick, which relies on good timing, could be of interest to all players wishing to make the most of the PlayStation Plus subscription, one of Sony’s most popular services. And according to experts from the Screen Rant site, January 6 is “the ideal time to activate your subscription” to benefit from the maximum number of free games.
This discovery, shared by an Internet user named maxsteel126, quickly circulated on the networks. By perfectly synchronizing the activation date of your monthly subscription, it would be possible to accumulate games from three different months. “This trick only works in certain months, depending on the release schedule of the monthly free games,” explains Screen Rant.
How to take advantage of this PS Plus tip?
The idea is as simple as it is effective. By subscribing on January 5, the player can still download the free games for the month of December before they disappear from the PlayStation Store. He will then have the whole month to access the January titles, then take advantage of sufficient opening to also recover those of February before the end of the 30 days.
