After a second departure and a name change, Splitgate 2 is struggling to find its audience

On Steam, the game does not attract crowds

Even with rather positive reviews on Steam, Splitgate: Arena Reloaded doesn’t seem to attract crowds. The game was relaunched two weeks ago, and you would have thought that this revival would attract people, but the public seems to have definitely moved on.

You only need to take a look at the game’s traffic on Steam to realize that Splitgate: Arena Reloaded is not very populated today. With peaks of less than 1,000 people per day on the title, we cannot say that success is there, especially for a game that is available free-to-play. There remains the console market to save the game a little, but if the PC version attracts so few people, there is a good chance that the situation will be quite similar on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

The studio still wants to see the glass half full and declared on December 24 that 150,000 people tried this new version of the game, and had shared a first roadmap with an update coming in January, which will bring a new mode and a new map. It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to rebuild a community, which is far from won.
