We often forget them, and yet they are sometimes worth much more than the new products. On the eve of their withdrawal, five titles available for free via the PlayStation Plus subscription are preparing to disappear from the catalog for good. This Tuesday, January 6, 2026, it will be too late.
PlayStation regularly warns its subscribers, but this month, players themselves are sounding the alarm. “A selection of December games are leaving PS Plus in less than 24 hours, and subscribers are already warning others to get them before they’re gone.” An approach of solidarity which could avoid many regrets for those who have not yet checked their library.
Five games affected by the January 6 withdrawal
These are not three, as usual, but five games which will be removed from the PlayStation Plus Essential offer this Tuesday:
- LEGO Horizon Adventures
- Killing Floor 3
- The Outlast Trials
- Synduality Echo of Ada
- Neon White
To retrieve them, simply “add them to library” before midnight. No immediate download is required, provided you remain subscribed. “This is the last time you will be able to add them to your catalog for free via the Essential subscription.”
Why you need to act even if you don’t play right away
Some titles, like LEGO Horizon Adventures, are short but very enjoyable, while Neon White has already made an impression with its stylized gameplay. For thrill-seekers, The Outlast Trials and Killing Floor 3 promise plenty of cold sweats.
And even if the desire or time is lacking today, nothing stops you from anticipating: “Even if you don’t have time to play them now, it is advisable to add them to your library.”
A wave of solidarity between PS Plus subscribers
As Sony prepares to unveil the January titles, the community is mobilizing not to forget those of December. Rare are the months when so many games come out of the service at once. This last minute reminder is therefore precious.
“You have less than 24 hours left to get them, so hurry before Tuesday!” The message is clear: a simple click could save you from missing out on a game that you may regret in a few weeks.
