»Lose It to an Android« is released in two versions + trailer


On the official website of the anime adaptation of “Does It Count If You Lose It to an Android?” (Japanese: “Android wa Keiken Ninzuu ni Hairimasu ka??”) it was announced that the series will be released in two versions. You can find a new trailer below.

Starting in January 2026

The “Deregula Version,” which is described as an “uncensored version,” will launch on January 9, 2026 on the AnimeFesta streaming service. The censored “on-air version” premieres on Japanese television on the same day.

The short anime will consist of eight TV episodes and an OVA episode in which the plot continues. The studio Nyan Pollution-ω- is responsible for the production, with Neko B directing and writing the script. Mitsuru Tsukiumi (“The Circle Of Butterflies”) contributes the character design.

The original manga series of the same name by Teishoku Yakiniku has been published in the “Comic Yuri Hime” magazine since July 2021. The Girls Love work is available in English from the US publisher Seven Seas Entertainment.
