New sequences for GTA 6
An animator working for Rockstar Games seems to have slipped sequences from the highly anticipated GTA VI into his “demo reel”. Posted on Vimeo by the animator, identified as Benjamin Chue, the video showed, among other things, animations attributed to GTA 6. Even though it has since been deleted, it is circulating widely via reposts and captures shared on social networks (given that Rockstar deletes quickly, we invite you to look for the extracts on social networks if you ever want to see them).
According to the elements identified, we can see a male protagonist (probably Jason) who retrieves a bicycle from a public terminal, mounts it, then puts it back in place. A gesture which could suggest a bicycle rental system in the game. The bicycle bears the “LomBike” logo, a possible nod to the fictional transport company “Lombank”, already present in the GTA universe.
Another scene shows a woman, probably the character Lucia Caminos, jumping from a pickup truck. She first gets off the trailer, then jumps from the roof onto the ground. If these animations are authentic, they suggest various contextual movementsoutside of traditional vehicles and gunfights.
Even though the demo reel comes from an animator who has worked on several Rockstar titles (including Red Dead Redemption 2 and Max Payne 3), there is no guarantee that these animations will be part of the final version of GTA VI. This is currently “work in progress” with stripped models, missing textures…. Additionally, some scenes might only be used in cutscenes or very specific contexts.
Remember that GTA VI, initially expected at the end of 2025, saw its release postponed to November 19, 2026.
