The MP1ST site found the trace of a certain “ Control: Resonant », whose trademark was registered in Europe by an unknown organization. To make the link with Remedy’s video game, you must first see in which category the brand has been registered, before realizing that it is well classified in video games, in addition to TV and cinema, undoubtedly to protect all possible rights around this name.
And if the name of the company does not appear here, the MP1ST site points out that this mystery business is associated with “Nordia Attorneys at Law”, the law firm that also represents Remedy and who takes care of the protection of his works via this type of trademark registration.
Suffice it to say that we don’t need any more clues to realize that this is indeed a work linked to Remedy. It now remains to be seen whether it is indeed Control 2. The studio has never specified the title of this second episode, and normally, we could raise the possibility that this is a spin-off. But since Remedy has been quite transparent with its shareholders by regularly providing updates on its current projects, everything points to Control 2. Unless it is not a game. Because the brand is also registered in other categories, it could also be an adaptation in partnership with Annapurna Interactive, announced some time ago.
