The data from MyAnimeList as of November 27, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. was used for this ranking. There we determined how many users had put the respective anime sequels on their “plan-to-watch” list.
Since some sequels do not yet have a fixed start date, we have also taken into account those titles that are not yet certain to be released next year. It is therefore possible that some sequels will appear (significantly) later.
