It was recently announced through a product listing on Amazon that AniMoon Publishing will be releasing the first season of “Kuroko’s Basketball” in a complete Blu-ray box. Pre-ordering is already possible.
Release in February 2026
According to current plans, the complete box for the first “Kuroko’s Basketball” season is scheduled to go on sale on February 27, 2026. This includes all 25 episodes in German and in the original Japanese language with subtitles.
The Production IG studio was responsible for producing the sports series, with Shunsuke Tada (“Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The New Thesis”) directing and Noboru Takagi (“Kingdom”) writing the script.
The anime adaptation of the original manga series of the same name by Tadatoshi Fujimaki includes a total of three seasons, which have already been published by AniMoon Publishing as a limited edition with a collector’s slipcase.
