Like every month, Microsoft updates the Xbox Game Pass catalog, adding new titles… but also removing certain games. And for this month of November 2025, five departures have been confirmed. The deadline: November 30.
This is the account XBOriginalswell known on X (formerly Twitter), which spotted the first games concerned. Here is the list:
- SteamWorld Build
- Octopath Traveler
- Octopath Traveler II
- Barbie Friendship Project
- Lords of the Fallen (2023)
It is still possible that other titles will be added by the end of the month, with Xbox removing on average five to ten games per period. But these five are already official.
A mix of indie gems and cult RPGs
Among these games, some particularly stand out. Octopath Traveler And Octopath Traveler II are praised for their retro-HD style and their old-school gameplay, heir to the great JRPGs of the Super Nintendo.
Lords of the Fallen (2023)for its part, is aimed at fans of demanding dark fantasy. If you like games Dark Soulsit deserves one last session before it disappears from Game Pass.
And even if Barbie Friendship Project seems lighter, it may appeal to younger people or those looking for a fun and colorful casual experience.
Only one rule: don’t delay
Once removed, these games will no longer be accessible through the subscription unless you have purchased them. Good news: subscribers often get a discount for purchasing them before they leave.
So if one of these titles tempts you, now is the time. Get there before November 30 on your Xbox or PC to test them… while there’s still time.
