The game still advances every day
Asked by GQ about his current projects, the man in the leather jacket admitted that The Elder Scrolls VI won’t happen for a little while, given “ that it is far from finished ». He adds that he asks for patience, while adding that working on the game is still part of his daily life today, and specifies that a major internal playtest was organized recently on this episode.
Patience, the fans had it, and even if Howard indicates in this same interview that he likes that the licenses can take a break to better come back, he recognizes that the time between Skyrim and this new episode was too long. However, there is no question of rushing, and we understand here that the game will still require a lot of work.
Can we nevertheless count, far in the future, on a shadowdrop for The Elder Scrolls VI ? The idea seems absurd as this title is important for Bethesda, but the latter released Oblivion: Remastered without warning (if you don’t count leaks). Howard adds about this remaster:
“ You can say this is a test. And it worked well. »
But we won’t bet too much on this possibility for The Elder Scrolls VI, even if Todd Howard certainly still has a few years to think about it.
