It was recently announced through a product listing on Amazon that Crunchyroll will soon be releasing the film “Haikyu!!: The Garbage Dump Play-Off” in two versions on DVD and Blu-ray. Pre-ordering is now possible.

The evening filler is therefore expected to be available on DVD and Blu-ray from February 20, 2026, both as a standard edition and in a limited steelbook edition with German and Japanese language versions. Details about the features of the products are currently pending.
The 85-minute film was produced under the direction of director Susumu Mitsunaka (“Detective Conan Movie 25”) at the Production IG studio. Takahiro Kishida (“Smile of the Arsnotoria”) was responsible for the character design.
The premiere of the film, which is the first part of the »Haikyu!! FINAL« series was released in Japanese cinemas on February 16, 2024. Crunchyroll already offers this on demand in German and in the original audio. The previous anime series was published in this country by peppermint anime.
