Make the right choices to get a new ending
The publisher had already specified that new narrative episodes would be present in Dragon Quest VII Reimaginedincluding one which will focus on the childhood of the hero and Maribel. Square Enix will finally go even further, since Takeshi Ichikawa specifies that you will even be entitled to a completely new conclusion, which will depend on some of the choices made during the adventure :
