Through an entry in ProSieben MAXX’s programming schedule, it was announced today that the free TV channel will be broadcasting the anime classic “Dragon Ball” again after more than ten years. We summarize.
From November 2025
The first “Dragon Ball” series can therefore be seen on ProSieben MAXX from November 26, 2025 from Monday to Friday at 6:05 p.m. and can then probably be streamed for free on Joyn.
The anime previously ran between January 2014 and June 2015 in the “YEP!” program block, whose discontinuation in July 2025 also marked the premature end of the last repetition after 88 episodes.
The last TV broadcast to date took place on RTL ZWEI from April 2023 to December 2024, but was canceled after 127 of 153 episodes.
“Dragon Ball” is based on the original manga of the same name by Akira Toriyama, which is available in this country from Carlsen Verlag with a German translation. The anime adaptation was released on DVD and Blu-ray by Crunchyroll.
