Since the release of Borderlands 4 in September, Gearbox seems determined to spoil its community. And it’s not about to stop: five new SHiFT codes have just been revealed, each offering a precious golden key. These bonuses are available until November 6, but you still need to remember to activate them in time.
For fans of the looter-shooter, these keys are a golden opportunity to access rare loot effortlessly. All you need to do is have a SHiFT account linked to the game to activate them, either directly online or from the in-game menu. As Gearbox points out, “players with a linked account on the SHiFT site can go there to use these codes, which generally entitle you to a golden key for Borderlands 4, or even exclusive cosmetic items.”
The 5 SHiFT codes to activate before November 6
Usable now on Xbox, PlayStation or PC, these five codes each offer a golden key:

“Each code allows you to obtain a golden key and all expire on November 6,” said the official Borderlands account on Xbox. Once these codes are entered, players can use them to open Golden Chests, often located in the main areas of the game. “Once used, these codes allow you to open Golden Chests in-game”, and “these often contain many legendary weapons from Borderlands 4, very useful for improving any character”.
Rewards to collect while waiting for the next patches
Even if Gearbox continues to refine Borderlands 4 with regular patches – the last update dating from October 30 – these golden keys remain an excellent way to progress your character without going through long farming sessions. “The developer continues to work on the game’s balance and performance through new Borderlands 4 updates.”
Also note: other older SHiFT codes remain valid, such as T9RJB-BFKRR-3RBTW-B33TB-KCZB9 (1 golden key) or a selection of cosmetic skins like those of Rafa, Vex or Harlowe. Enough to personalize your hero while waiting for the game’s next community events.
