Don’t adjust your screens
After the traditional server bugs when launching the event playlist, players were able to witness a very short in-game phase, where very few movements were possible, all in front of Bart’s tree house. In order to scare away the monsters in Nightmares mode (Fortnitemares), Jones and Hope used new gadgets to close a rift. You’ll find this entire sequence in our homemade capture below.
Unfortunately, aliens straight from the Simpsons universe have invited themselves to the party and disrupted the plans to help the demon take over the island of Fortnite. What follows are twists and turns that ultimately merge the town of Springfield and the island of Chapter 6 in a fully animated cel-shaded version, with iconic locations and cult characters. After a stylized credits allowing us to discover some new features, we were able to discover a sort of mini-episode of The Simpsons where Homer uses a fragment of the zero point to transform the city and the habits of its inhabitants. What announces a season of high-level humor? Let’s hope so since the official French voices were present to dub our characters with the usual humor of the television show.

The Fortnite x The Simpsons Mini-Season event will begin this Saturday, November 1 at 9:30 p.m. with a ton of new features but also the arrival of companions – mascots – for our heroes, on a map with 80 players compared to 100 usually.
