The Call of Duty film has found its writers and director, with the creator of the Yellowstone series

To ensure that the film Call of Duty is born, Paramount went looking for names that carry a little weight in the industry, like Taylor Sheridan, now known as the creator of the series Yellowstone. He will act here as producer, but also as screenwriter on this feature film.

To produce the latter, Deadline indicates that Paramount called on Peter Berg. A slightly lesser known name, but you only need to take a quick look at his CV to understand why he was chosen here. The director counts among his achievements films like Blood and tears, Battleship Or Stalking Bostona lot of action films (and not just masterpieces) which stick to what we can expect from a film Call of Duty. And given the director’s mania for producing films highlighting Marky Mark Wahlberg, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him be the headliner of this adaptation.

Berg will also participate in the writing, which will not be the first collaboration of the two friends, who have already worked together on Hell or High Water Or Wind River. A duo who know each other well, and who now have one of the most closely watched Hollywood projects in their hands.
