Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets a major update with New Game Plus and a nod to Raiders



MachineGames celebrates its fifteenth birthday with a gift for fans of the archaeologist with the whip: a free update For Indiana Jones and the Great Circleavailable from October 10, 2025. On the menu: a New Game Plus modea outfit inspired by Raiders of the Lost Arkof the language customization optionsas well as many fixes techniques on all platforms.

Already released on Xbox Series, PC and PS5, and soon planned for Switch 2, the game continues to evolve thanks to a patch which is aimed at both newcomers and players who have already completed the main story.

A New Game Plus eagerly awaited by the community

The main course of this update is the arrival of New Game Plusa mode which allows you to restart a game while retaining certain unlocked objects, notably the adventure books. MachineGames recommends that players increase the difficulty during this new run, with Indy now being better equipped.

“The New Game Plus mode and the Cairo outfit were highly requested by the community,” explains the studio on the game’s official website. Another new feature, a new post-credits scene will also be visible only after a game completed in New Game Plus.

In parallel, the Cairo outfit pays homage to Indy’s iconic appearance in Raiders of the Lost Arkwithout a jacket, in a refined style. More alternate costumes are planned in the coming months.

Technical fixes, a new eco-energy patch and more languages

The update also includes a energy saving option on Xbox Series, which automatically adjusts resolution and performance when the player leaves their controller idle. This feature will be rolled out to other platforms later.

The game now supports future ROG Ally Xbox consoles, with adapted video settings by default. On the customization side, players can now freely choose between nine vocal languages And fourteen text languages : “You can combine the nine available voice languages ​​with the 14 text languages,” says MachineGames.

Finally, a long list of fixes has been deployed, ranging from stuck enemy animations to interaction issues with objects, including visual or sound bugs in certain regions of the game (Giza, Sukhothai, Peru, Iraq…).
