The Japanese company Good Smile Company recently announced two new figures for the “Evangelion” franchise. We summarize.
Release in December 2026
The new figures by Rei Ayanami and Asuka Shikinami Langley from the “Plamatea” series are each approximately 17 centimeters tall and are made of PVC. You can see the first pictures below.
The standard release is planned for December 2026 at a price of 7,700 yen (around 42 euros) each. Pre-orders are expected to be available soon from participating retailers, although actual retail prices may vary.
The 26-part original series “Neon Genesis Evangelion,” which premiered in Japan between October 1995 and March 1996, was released on DVD and Blu-ray in this country by LEONINE Anime. A new anime project is in the works.
