It was recently confirmed on the official X account of “One Piece” that the series will be taking a break before the next episode. We summarize.
One week break
The 1169th episode of “One Piece” will therefore not be shown on Japanese television and internationally on demand on July 5, 2026, but only on July 12, 2026. The reason for this is the broadcast of the special episode “One Piece: Heroines”, which will appear on Netflix in this country on July 11, 2026.
The anime adaptation of “One Piece” is being created by the Toei Animation studio and will be shown in simulcast on Crunchyroll and ADN shortly after its Japanese premiere and six days later on Netflix. Since the start of the “Elban Arc” (Elbaph Arc) in April 2026, a maximum of 26 new episodes have appeared annually.
The series is based on the original manga series of the same name by Eiichiro Oda. The 38th DVD and Blu-ray box went on sale on May 15, 2026 with episodes 1076 to 1100 in the German and Japanese language versions.
