The planned live-action series for “Solo Leveling” has probably found another actor, as a Korean media report now names Cha Woo-Min as cast for an important antagonist role. We summarize.

As the Korean medium Newsen reports, actor Cha Woo-Min is set to play the role of Baruka, a powerful antagonist from the “Red Gate” story arc, in the upcoming Netflix adaptation of “Solo Leveling.”
However, there is currently no official confirmation from Netflix, Kakao Entertainment or Cha Woo-Min’s agency.
Cha Woo-Min has already appeared in productions such as “Weak Hero Class 1”, “Study Group”, “Brave Citizen” and the Netflix film “Love Untangled”. He is also set to play a leading role in the upcoming tvN series “Favorite Employee”.

It was previously confirmed that Byun Woo-Seok will take on the role of protagonist Sung Jin-Woo. Lee Hae-Jun and Kim Byung-Seo are directing the live-action adaptation, while Kakao Entertainment is directing production alongside Sanai Pictures. It is not yet known when the series will appear.
