»Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games« is directed by Shouta Ibata (“The Saint’s Magic Power”) at Studio diomedéa. Wataru Watari is writing the script, while Mayuko Matsumoto is creating the character design.
The opening song that can be heard in the trailer is titled “Inochi Mijikashi Tai Suru Otome yo!” and comes from the four-piece Japanese band HANABIE (opening song from “Momentary Lily” and ending from “Araiguma Calcal-dan”).
The original manga series of the same name written by Eri Ejima has been published in “Comic Flapper” magazine since January 2020. The work is available through Seven Seas Entertainment with an English translation.
