Fan of Fallout : Why Wasteland Remastered still worth your time in 2026

Originally, Wasteland was released in 1988: a post-apocalyptic top-down RPG, where a squad of rangers explores an irradiated American desert. This title directly inspired the first Fallout. Wasteland Remasteredreleased in 2020, modernizes the graphics, interface and audio, while retaining its very text-based tactical gameplay.

Don’t expect a clone of Fallout 4 : it’s a slow and demanding CRPG, designed for nostalgic fans. On PC, the interface and subtitles are in French, and the game remains purchasable on Xbox and PC if you missed the bug.
