Japanese merchandising company Donguri Sora recently introduced new socks based on five Ghibli classics. We summarize the details.
18 new pairs of Ghibli socks
The 18 new pairs of socks, which you can see the first pictures of further down in this article, are decorated with illustrations from the film classics “My Neighbor Totoro”, “Howl’s Moving Castle”, “Voice of the Heart – Whisper of the Heart”, “Kiki’s Little Delivery Service” and “Spirited Away”.
All products can now be purchased at prices between 550 yen (approximately 2.95 euros) and 1,980 yen (approximately 10.60 euros) in the official Donguri Sora online shop. Ghibli fans outside of Japan require a proxy shopping service.
The Studio Ghibli anime classics mentioned in this article were released on DVD and Blu-ray in this country by LEONINE Anime. A new collector’s edition with the films of Hayao Miyazaki was released on September 26, 2025.
