12.7 million votes: Fans choose their favorite “Freezing” characters

The “Freezing” franchise held an official survey in March 2026 to determine which characters from manga and anime are particularly popular with fans. We summarize.

A total of 12.7 million votes were counted during the vote, which led to an unexpected result. While Himmel took first place in previous years, he had to give it up this year.

As a result, Zieh secured the top position with a narrow lead, followed by Himmel in second place. Aura ended up in third place, while the protagonist Frieren narrowly missed out on the podium with fourth place.
