Bethesda presents the PS5 version of Starfield and all its features in video

A port also optimized for the PS5 Pro

Naturally, the PS5 version of Starfield will take advantage of the DualSense as it should with adaptive triggers to better feel each shot, while the light gauge surrounding the touchpad will change depending on your character’s health.

We will also find several shortcuts with this touchpad, and the controller’s speaker will be used when playing audio logs in the game. You can also choose between opting for Performance mode at 60 frames per second, or falling back on Quality mode in order to make the most of the 4K landscapes. On PS5 Pro, both modes will benefit from PSSR to improve the experience even further. A priori, no “balanced” mode at 40 fps on the horizon for the moment, even for the PS5 Pro.

The PS5 version of Starfield will be available from April 7, at the same time as the expansion Terra Armada.
