Switch 2: these big games are coming very quickly and some are already flying under the radar

From April to June 2026, which Switch 2 games should you not miss?

From April 17, Pragmata puts the Switch 2 on the same level as other consoles for Capcom’s next big SF game. Three days later, on April 20, High on Life 2 offers its crazy narrative FPS in a portable version. But April 16 could well be the real nice surprise of the month with MOUSE: PI For Hireshooter with a 1930s cartoon aesthetic, accompanied by more discreet experiences like OPUS: Prism Peak or the countryside Fortnite: Save the World. The month ends with the racing game MotoGP 26 and survival horror Amnesia: Rebirthwhich further enrich the variety of the line-up.

In May, Nintendo finally released its first big house title with Yoshi and the Mysterious Bookscheduled for May 21, 2026 and exclusive to the Switch 2. A few days later, on May 27, 007 First Light marks the return of James Bond in an adventure mixing Hitman-style infiltration and big action scenes. June continues with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth the 3, while more niche games like Denshattack!, R-Type Tactics I & II Cosmos or the quirky remake Destroy All Humans! promise a very busy month for players who like to alternate between giant RPG and retro delirium.

2026 Switch 2 Calendar: blockbusters, hidden nuggets and games still without date

Summer starts strong on August 27 with Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2which notably includes Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots – Master Collection Version And Peace Walkerfor the first time playable on a Nintendo console. Autumn continues this momentum with Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed September 15 then Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on October 6, a remake that should appeal to both Wii nostalgic fans and Disney fans.

At the same time, a wave of more discreet projects like Blue Reflection Quartet, Truxton Extreme, Culdcept BEGINS, Unrailed! 2: Back on Track, Smalland: Survive the Wilds, Witchbrook, woodo Or Starbites risks going under the radar, while they have everything to occupy long hours between two big AAAs.
