Without spending a penny more, you’ll be able to play three remastered classics that defined 3D adventure gaming on console.
The April 2026 line-up also brings together Lords of the Fallen on PS5 and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydreambut the real gold mine is the compilation Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft on PS4 and PS5. PS Plus Essential: why Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is the real gift of April
Released in 2024, the compilation Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft brings together the first three episodes of the series, released in 1996, 1997 and 1998. The remaster is signed Aspyrin collaboration with Crystal Dynamicsand aims to make these classics playable comfortably on current machines.
Each game benefits from reworked textures, finer lighting and more detailed models, while allowing you to return to the original PlayStation 1-style polygonal rendering at any time. In terms of handling, you can choose between more flexible modern controls or the famous “tank” movement from the period episodes, perfectly respected.
The compilation also includes all the extensions released at the time: Unfinished business, The Golden Mask And The Lost Artifact. A new Challenge mode adds modifiers, feats to chain and ten new outfits for Lara Crofteven if this mode was launched in a perfectible state and continues to be adjusted via patches.

The trilogy is redeemable from April 7 to May 4, 2026 in the “Monthly Games” section of the PS Store, for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers. Once added to your library, it remains playable as long as the subscription is active.
