The second season of “The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen,” which starts on Japanese television on April 7, 2026, is once again being produced under the direction of director Norio Nitta (“ODDTAXI”) in Studio OLM. Hitomi Mieno (“Unnamed Memory”) is writing the script, while Hitomi Kouno is doing the character design.

The opening song, entitled “Ego”, comes from the band Retroriron (ending song from “Ragna Crimson”) and the ending song “Tarareba” is contributed by Garakuta. The speakers of the main characters slip into their roles again.

The twelve-part first season ran on Japanese television from July to September 2023 and is available on demand in the original language with subtitles on the streaming services AKIBA PASS TV, Prime Video and aniverse.
