The streaming service Crunchyroll announced today that it has secured the license for the second season of “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” (Japanese: “Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria”). You can find a new trailer below.
Starting in April 2026
The second season of “Wistoria” will run on Japanese television and on Crunchyroll with German subtitles in simulcast from April 12, 2026. A recap episode will air one week earlier, on April 5, 2026.
The studios Actas and BN Pictures are once again responsible for the production of the sequel, with Hideaki Nakano (“Devils’ Line”) directing. Tatsuya Yoshihara (“Black Clover”) serves as chief director.
The opening song “Believers” comes from the band ASH DA HERO (opening of “Blue Lock”), while Shiyui sings the ending song “Reachlight”.
The twelve-part first season of the fantasy anime, which premiered from July to September 2024, is already available on demand in the German language version and in the original Japanese audio. A disc release took place last year.
