An offline version to survive
Let’s move on from failure Deathverse: Let it Dieanother free PvPvE experience, Let It Die tout court was alive since December 3, 2016 on PS4, then two years later on PC. An adventure offering us the opportunity to climb the floors of a tower filled with dangers, including real players. The result was an experience that was not necessarily fun but which was able to seduce part of the public, unlike its sequel. Let It Die: Infernoparticularly disappointing and corrupted by generative AI.
Unfortunately, Let It Die first of the name, and in its initial version, will not celebrate its tenth anniversary this year since the game will be disconnected from the servers on September 1. However, it will move to an Offline Edition planned for fall 2026. And we appreciate that a game with pronounced multi-DNA can be left playable in an offline version when the time comes to close the servers.
The first consequence lies in the management of Death Metal, the premium currency that could, for example, be purchased directly on the stores. Kill Coin replaces most of the uses of Death Metal. On the progression side, the save will be transferable from the original version to the Offline Edition, remembering that there is no cross-save between PlayStation and Steam.
Let it Die: Infernofor its part, will try to get its head above water by preparing its season 2 with the arrival of duo PvE for Hell Gate mode, new weapons, target lock, etc. Content that will arrive March 10, 2026.
