Sluggerfly and Headup’s platform game will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026

Steve Marois (Despised Icon) will also contribute to the soundtrack

In addition to this information, this new trailer also aims to give us a slight glimpse of one of the future music from the production. Entitled “Meatgrinder”, it is notably composed in collaboration with Steve Maroisone of the current vocalists of the Canadian deathcore band Despised Icon. If you don’t know the latter, it was created in 2002 and offers sound arrangements inspired by death metal, metalcore and hardcore punk. Suffice to say that it only takes a few notes to notice that it sends something heavy into the ears!

See you later, in 2026, to discover Super Meat Boy 3D on PC via Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox Game Pass, and therefore Nintendo Switch 2. As a reminder, this platform game will have us controlling a cube of meat, in order to save his girlfriend from the clutches of a strange evil fetus. On the program, the developers promise to confront us with demanding and unforgiving, but doable, challenges that will put our patience, our reflexes and our nerves to the test.
