Xbox is offering 5 free games this weekend, including Battlefield 6

The weekend is approaching and, for Xbox gamers, that means a new wave of Free Play Days. Since February 20, 2026, Microsoft has allowed users to test five games for free for a limited time. The operation ends on Sunday February 22 inclusive.

Among the titles on offer are a AAA blockbuster from 2025, Battlefield 6, as well as several action and multiplayer games. Be careful, however: the majority of games require an Xbox Game Pass subscription, with the exception of one.

Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash free for all Xbox players

This time around, Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash is available for free to all Xbox users, with no Game Pass subscription required. Inspired by the famous anime, this 2 versus 2 action game focuses on dynamic combat and Cursed Techniques. Players must choose a partner and string together unique combos to dominate the arena. For those who want to keep the game after the free period, it is currently priced at $19.79 instead of $59.99. Free access will end on February 22, as with the other titles in the operation.

Battlefield 6 featured at Free Play Days

The biggest piece of this selection remains Battlefield 6. Released in 2025, the FPS marked its return with particularly dynamic infantry combat. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play it for free until February 22. To avoid losing access at the end of the event, the game is currently on sale for $45.49 instead of $69.99. This discount is aimed at players who wish to continue the experience after the Free Play Days end.

Three other games to test before Sunday

In addition, three other titles are available for Game Pass subscribers. Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainiods offers an experience combining action and strategy. The premise is simple: “build a base and command your army of robots to defeat the strange Brains in Jars aliens.” The game states: “Lead the assault with your hero, Chip or Clawz, or both in co-op. Watch out for the ejected alien brains, you can crush them!” It is currently priced at $20.99 instead of $29.99.

PGA Tour 2K25 is aimed at golf enthusiasts. The experience remains faithful to the sports simulation and allows you to try the title without obligation before a possible purchase.

Finally, Polterguys: Possession Party focuses on multiplayer for up to eight players. Participants take on the role of a “brazen ghost” capable of possessing everyday objects to sabotage his opponents. The game invites: “Fight on frightening maps filled with traps, bonuses and perfectly orchestrated betrayals.” It’s on sale for $4.49 instead of $14.99. All these games remain accessible for free until Sunday February 22 inclusive. After this date, access will be automatically revoked.
