It was recently announced on the X account of “Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction” that the series will be published on AnimeFesta from March 13, 2026 and will be broadcast on Japanese television from April 5, 2026. There is a new teaser below.

»Marika’s Love Meter Malfunction« is directed by Sumito Sasaki (“Marry Me, Let’s Have a Baby!”) at Studio Leo. Masamitsu Ootake is writing the script, while Rena Nasu (“Adam’s Sweet Agony”) is doing the character design.
The main roles of the Japanese voice cast include Maaya Uchida (Cecilia Adelbide in “The Holy Grail of Eris”) as Marika Chitose and Kouhei Amasaki (Will Serfort in “Wistoria: Wand and Sword”) as Kanata.
The manga, originally titled “Marika-chan no Koukando wa Bukkowareteiru,” was written by Rin Komugi and has been published in Japan since April 2024. The work is available internationally on MangaPlaza with an English translation.
