A few more weeks to wait
After several postponements, Replaced was almost within reach. The release had been scheduled for March 12, and there was reason to be confident on this subject given that a demo was released recently to allow us to try this highly anticipated title ourselves. And it was ultimately this demo that changed the studio’s plans. Although the feedback has been very positive, Sad Cat Studios felt that it still needed to correct a few things to ensure that it delivered the best possible version of Replacedwhich is why the game will finally be released on April 14 :
“ Although the game is technically finished, this final stretch has shown us that we still need a few weeks to guarantee an experience that meets your expectations. We want the version of Replaced you play when it releases to be polished, stable, and true to the vision we shared with you. The reception to our Steam demo was the ultimate motivator for us. To be honest, posting it was stressful, but seeing your gameplay videos, reading your reviews, and hearing your enthusiasm has been amazing. We’re constantly reading your comments, and your feedback helps us make the final touches that will make the full game shine. »
It’s hard to blame the studio, which will take this extra month to refine this adventure while avoiding a decidedly busy month of March. A postponement for the better, except for the growing impatience of the public following the publication of the demo.
Replaced is expected on PC and Xbox Series.
