The miracle
At Ubisoft, the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was canceled, along with other unannounced projects. Other games have been postponed, while studios have been closed. In all this chaos caused by the Guillemot family, Beyond Good and Evil 2 is still alivewhich is almost a miracle. However, the public is still wondering about the health of the project, and Fawzi Mesmar has received a lot of messages on this subject.
He therefore wanted to speak to assure us that everything that happened recently at Ubisoft does not affect the development of Beyond Good and Evil 2 :
“ Thank you to everyone who contacted me over the last few days regarding the latest news at Ubisoft. Myself, my team and our Beyond Good and Evil 2 project are not affected by the recent changes […] Needless to say, I am saddened by the cancellations that have affected my colleagues in other areas of Ubisoft and across the industry. I encourage everyone – myself included – to offer support in any way possible during these times. We remain committed and focused on making a remarkable game for our players to enjoy. »
One of the few good news coming from Ubisoft in recent times. Beyond Good and Evil 2 continues its (long) path, and the wait continues on the public side.
