High on Life 2 is adding a Switch 2 version, but it won’t arrive until spring

And a game key card for the boxed version

Formerly a temporary console exclusion at Xbox, what we can call for several months the license High On Life has opened up to other consoles. And given that a certain Switch 2 has been available since last year, with a little more power under the hood, Nintendo’s new asset would be wrong to deprive itself of fairly notable cartridges from third-party publishers.

Squanch Games, the Californian studio behind High on Life 2, therefore confirms that the sequel will be available on the hybrid console. Please note, as much as the game plans to be released on February 13 on PC (via Steam, Epic and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, this Switch 2 version will arrive two months later, on April 20. A date on which the physical PS5 and Switch 2 versions will also be distributed, with a game key card for the latter.

Such an announcement also allows us to recall that the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the first High on Lifealready available digitally since September 2025, will also have a boxed version this year thanks to Limited Run Games. Everything will be on the cartridge, including the “High on Knife” DLC. In short, you’re not done having talking guns at your fingertips, literally.
