After a mixed first season, the game season is pushed back a few days

The returns from the first season shook up the plans

Season 2 of Battlefield 6 will therefore be a little late. Electronic Arts indicated on the game’s official website that in order to better take into account all the feedback from the community, it was better to postpone the release of this season while extending the first story so as not to leave us with nothing to do. This season 2 of Battlefield 6 is now set for February 17 :

As part of our ongoing development program, we have continually taken feedback from the community into consideration, and in order to deliver on our promise, we have determined that the best path forward is to extend Season 1 and allow us more time to refine Season 2. Season 1 will be extended beyond January 20, the end date originally announced in-game, and Season 2 will launch on February 17. The Battlefield 6 and REDSEC Season 1 Extension Update will be available on January 20. It will include new weekly challenges, a bonus branch and the continuation of the Battle Pass from Season 1 until the start of Season 2. »

Season 1 will therefore extend beyond January 20, and will set up a bonus branch “Ice Fire” from January 27, with new customization rewards to be won, while double XP weekends will be introduced. All the information can be found on the game’s official website.
