Xbox Game Pass: 45 new games added to the catalog including Hogwarts Legacy, here is the full list

Microsoft sparked a shock wave in the world of video games this October 1, 2025 by announcing a complete reshuffle of its subscriptions Xbox Game Pass. The option Ultimatethe most popular, sees its price climbing $ 10, passing From $ 19.99 to $ 29.99 per monthaccording to ign. An increase justified by the addition of new major content, including the catalog Ubisoft+ Classicsnow integrated into the offer.

But that’s not all. In addition to renamed existing formulas, Microsoft introduces Premiuma new level that takes up the torch of the old standard offer. And to mark the occasion, more than 45 new games are available today for Ultimate and Premium subscribers.

Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV and 45 games land in the Game Pass

The change is not limited to the name of the formulas. The October catalog gives pride of place to great titles. The major event is undoubtedly the arrival of Hogwarts Legacythe blockbuster of Warner Bros., playable on Cloud, PC and consoleprovided you subscribe to Premium or Ultimate. He is however absent from the subscription Essential.

Among the other highly anticipated additions: Diablo IV,, Cities: Skylines II,, Frostpunk 2,, Skull and Bones,, Hades,, Warhammer 40,000: Darktideand all of Assassin’s Creed classic. The Ubisoft+ Classics offer considerably enriches selection, with games like Far Cry 3,, Rayman Legends,, Watch DogsOr The Crew 2.

For strategy fans, Age of Mythology: Retold,, Fallout: Tactics or Rise of Nations also join the catalog. In all, it is an avalanche of emblematic titles, accessible according to the level chosen.

Limited access to future outings … except for Call of Duty

If Premium is presented as the front door to the next Xbox outputs, a major surprise awaits the players. Microsoft confirmed that “Premium would receive the new Xbox games in the year following their release, but curiously, this excludes Call of Duty titles”. An unexpected restriction for a franchise, however attached to the Xbox ecosystem since the acquisition of Activision.

In other words, “So don’t expect to play Black Ops 7 as soon as it was released in November with a premium subscription”. A strategic choice that could be debated, especially with loyal subscribers hoping to access blockbusters at no additional cost.

Finally, the level Essentialwhich replaces the old Coreallows access to a selection of 50 playable games on PC and console, as Hades,, Disney Dreamlight Valley or Cities: Skylines – Remastered. Cheaper, this formula remains solid, but deprives itself of the flagship titles which make the strength of other subscriptions.
