The top 30 anime with the highest cancellation rate in spring 2026

Countless new series start every season, but not all of them can convince viewers. With this ranking we want to find out which titles this applies to in the current spring season 2026.

The season flops according to fans

On MyAnimeList, anime fans can, among other things, enter which series they are actively following in the current spring 2026 season – or have stopped. We looked at the numbers on May 15, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.

In order to make the evaluation as meaningful as possible, for all series with more than 8,000 viewers on MyAnimeList, those users who simply marked the title with “Plan to Watch” and therefore have not started yet were not taken into account.

Using this adjusted number of viewers, we then calculated how many viewers canceled the respective anime prematurely and marked it as “dropped”. You can find the complete ranking below.

What do you think of the rankings? Which spring 2026 anime did you cancel? Let us know in the comments!
