It was recently announced through a product listing on Amazon that Crunchyroll will be releasing the isekai anime “The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest” on Blu-ray. We summarize all the details below.
Disc release in January 2026
“The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest” will therefore be available from January 16, 2026 in a complete box that includes all episodes with German and Japanese language versions. Details about the equipment are still open, but pre-ordering from the online retailer Amazon is already possible.
The JCSTAFF studio was responsible for the production of the twelve-part isekai series, with Noriaki Akitaya (“Shy Hero and the Assassin Princesses”) directing and Hiroki Uchida writing the script.
It was first broadcast on Japanese television from January to March 2022. The streaming service Crunchyroll already offers all episodes with German dubbing and in the original sound with subtitles on demand.
