New details about the upcoming sequel were announced today on the official X account of the anime series “Trigun Stampede”. There is also a new trailer, which you can watch further down in this article.
Starting in January 2026
The sequel, titled “Trigun Stargaze,” which is described as the “final phase,” is currently scheduled to start on Japanese television in January 2026. Crunchyroll is showing the sequel in its original language with subtitles in a simulcast.
As with its predecessor, Studio Orange is responsible for the production of the new episodes, with Masako Sato (“Haikyu!! TO THE TOP”) once again directing and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (“Your Forma”) writing the script.
“Trigun Stampede” ran on Japanese television from January to March 2023 and is already available on demand in German and Japanese on Crunchyroll. A Blu-ray complete box was released in November 2024.
