New details about the series’ broadcast were announced today on the official X account of the anime adaptation of “Kagurabachi”. You can see a first teaser and a visual further down in this article.
Starting in April 2027
According to current plans, “Kagurabachi” will start on Japanese television in April 2027. A simulcast has not yet been confirmed. Of course, we will continue to keep you up to date with all the latest news as usual.
The studio Cypic is responsible for the production of the anime, with Tetsuya Takeuchi (“From Bureaucrat to Villainess”) directing and Keigo Sasaki (“Umamusume”) contributing the character design. Taihi Kimura (Takeru in “Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse”) can be heard in the main role of Chihiro Rokuhira.
The original manga series of the same name written by Takeru Hokazono has been published in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shounen Jump” magazine since September 2023. The work is available in German from Carlsen Verlag.
