On the X account of the anime adaptation of “Isekai Office Worker: The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter” (Japanese: “Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai”) it was announced today that it will be broadcast on Japanese television from January 6, 2026. You can find a new visual below.

The anime adaptation of “Isekai Office Worker” is being directed by Shinji Ishihira (“Tadaima, Okaeri”) at Studio DEEN. Yoshiko Nakamura (“Seirei Gensouki”) is writing the script, while Maki Fujii is contributing the character design.
The opening song “Magic” comes from the Japanese band kobore and the ending song “Back to Back” is contributed by Morisaki. Crunchyroll shows the fantasy series in its original language with German subtitles in a simulcast.
The original isekai light novel of the same name by Wakatsu Yatsuki was published in three volumes in Japan between February 2019 and September 2021 with illustrations by Kikka Ohashi. The manga adaptation by Kazuki Irodori is available in this country through HAYABUSA under the title “Isekai Office Worker” with a German translation.
