The return to Silent Hill
When we talk about not feigning surprise, it’s because the fuse was somewhat leaked on the side of the ESRB, the American classification body. The latter in fact listed the arrival of Silent Hill 2 Remake on Xbox Series.
And while we thought the information would be made official during the last showcase focused on third-party games coming to Xbox, it was deemed preferable to wait a handful of hours, with availability already made effective yesterday on the store in certain regions.
At least the good news is that there is no need to wait since you can already go to the Xbox store to buy the title, knowing that it comes with a 50% off promotion until December 2, reducing the price from €69.99 to €34.99. This is something to fall for without too much hesitation, especially since a physical edition seems difficult to imagine, but who knows.
Such availability is likely to support the good sales figures recorded by Konami, and also revives the hope of seeing the redesign of the “Born From A Wish” DLC land, which would be the logical continuation to make this Silent Hill 2 new generation a complete remake. Alas, there is nothing serious about this yet.
Silent Hill 2 Remake is available on PC (via Steam), PS5 and now Xbox Series.
