The big jump for Spiders
Spiders productions have long suffered from inequality, despite systematically having good ideas behind them. A favorable turning point nevertheless took shape when it was time to leave GreedFalla very good fantasy RPG inviting us to explore the island of Teer Fradee in the 17th century.
A success marked by the sale of more than a million copies in less than a year, and which naturally motivated a sequel. Called GreedFall 2: The Dying Worldthis second opus however wanted to go through early access, in order to move forward more cautiously. Today, and in video, Spiders announces to us that the release is coming soon.
The trailer covers everything you need to know, and we’ve had the opportunity to give you our impressions several times, so we won’t launch into a stupid and nasty repetition. There remains the events that occurred around the game that it is important to highlight by way of recontextualization.
We are referring to a call for a strike a year and a half ago with the result of successful negotiations, but also the departure of Jehanne Rousseau, before the studio experienced layoffs. Because, yes, this may be the last chance title for Spiders.
To return to the game, let’s just remember that this new episode will take place three before the events of the first GreedFallletting us discover “the other side” of the story since we play a native of Teer Fradee. In particular, we have more tactical gameplay and a story that is once again deep with importance clearly given to the choices we make.
